For our anniversary (and our last weekend in the Philippines), we took a short flight to Boracay. This beach is amazingly beautiful.
At the airport. |
At Caticlan airport. |
Wow, Obama Grill. |
It's a little hot :). |
Daniel in the front seat of a helicopter. |
The view if you look down. |
Lots of windows in that heli. It was nice to see all around you, but frightening too. |
Transport to the hotel. |
The streets of Boracay. |
Little walk from the road to the hotel. Beach in the distance. |
Our hotel room with floor to ceiling windows. |
What a view! The beach is right outside the window! |
Barbeque dinner the first night. Choose your own meat. |
Fresh fruit drinks. |
Grilled Lapu Lapu. |
Lots of bones. |
We did a good job cleaning our plates. |
Early morning walks on the beach. |
Probably the best tasting mango I've ever had. |
Other witnesses were staying at the same hotel and noticed Daniel's Jeremiah book on the table. |
Our boat ride back to the airport. |
And some funny water photos. Yes, salt water burns the eyes. |
To prove we were there. |
